ALPHA10X plans to move its headquarters from France to Qatar after a $5 million round

GrowthX Capital led the $5 million Pre-Series A round, according to Middle East AI News. The company says it expects at least 50 senior staff in Doha by the end of 2027.

        The round and the move

ILoveQatar.net reported on 29 October 2026 that GrowthX Capital led a $5 million investment round in ALPHA10X, and that the company is moving its global headquarters from France to Qatar.1,2

Middle East AI News describes the round as Pre-Series A, and says it was announced at a signing ceremony hosted by Qatar Chamber. The move is a plan. The sources do not say whether it is complete.1,2

        The investor

According to Middle East AI News, GrowthX Capital is a Doha-based investment firm founded by Qatari investor Hamad Mubarak al-Hajri. The same report says ALPHA10X previously raised $20 million in seed funding.1

The report also quotes a backer of GrowthX Capital who believes ALPHA10X could become a unicorn, a private start-up valued at $1 billion or more. This is one backer's view, not a valuation. Valuation and share terms of the round were not given.1

        What the company builds

ALPHA10X says it builds decision intelligence software for private equity, venture capital and investment banking. According to the Gulf Times, the platform runs on a proprietary reasoning system named ALPHAcodex. TheSaaSNews reports that the company uses its proprietary Alpha Codex technology stack to link data with analytical models.1,3,4

The company says the new money will mainly fund product development and better predictive tools. It also wants to link investment insights to transaction execution and capital deployment.1

Middle East AI News reports, citing the company, that a partnership with consulting firm Kearney has produced more than 100 engagements across 11 countries. Consultancy-me reports that Microsoft named ALPHA10X one of Europe's leading AI start-ups and that it received an EU Seal of Excellence.1,5

Doha plans and the QFC framework

Founder and group CEO Robert Marcus says ALPHA10X expects at least 50 senior staff in Doha by the end of 2027. This is a plan. The sources do not say whether hiring in Doha has started.1,3

The Qatar Financial Centre Authority states that firms registered in the center can be 100% foreign-owned and pay 10% corporate tax on locally sourced profit, and its page lists no personal income tax. It describes the center as onshore, with its own legal and tax framework. The sources do not say whether ALPHA10X will register there.6

        What could not be verified

        • Whether the $5 million has been fully paid in or only agreed at the signing ceremony
        • Whether the move to Qatar has been completed, and whether hiring in Doha has started
        • The Kearney figures (more than 100 engagements, 11 countries): the company's own claim, not independently checked
        • The unicorn view: an unnamed backer's opinion, not a valuation
        • ALPHAcodex capabilities: the company's own description, not independently tested

Where the region's builders and backers meet.

        Building it, or backing it?

MindEast explains how the region's technology works, one fact-checked story a day, and introduces founders to the investors who fit them, from Casablanca to Beirut to Riyadh.

        About MindEast

MindEast explains how the Middle East's technology works: a short explainer every day on Instagram, the full story behind each one here, and every Monday the region's startup funding rounds. The Launchpad introduces founders to the investors who fit them.

        Why MindEast

In 1202, a merchant's son in Pisa finished a book that changed how Europe counted. He had learned the digits zero to nine in Béjaïa, a trading port on the Algerian coast where his father worked. The numbers the world computes with reached the West through this region, along the same trade routes that once carried the Phoenician alphabet across the Mediterranean.

Somewhere along the way, the region started exporting its builders. Its engineers left for Silicon Valley, and its founders moved their companies abroad to be taken seriously. Now the tide is turning back East.

MindEast's biggest bet is the region itself.

        How MindEast checks

A funding round counts as confirmed when the company or its lead investor announces it on its own site, or when two independent outlets report it. Two outlets are independent only if different groups own them and they are not both state media of one country, and a press release printed by several outlets counts once. When sources give different figures, both are shown, with who said what.

Every story is written from the facts checked for its Reel, and every claim has a numbered source. A company's claims about its own product are labeled as the company's, and a fact that only one source gives says so. The same rules apply to every country covered.

        Privacy

What MindEast keeps, why, and how to have it deleted.

        Visiting this site

No cookies, no ads, nothing that follows you to other sites. The site and its fonts are served from mindeast.ai itself. Cloudflare, which hosts it, counts visits without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages are read, and roughly from which country), and keeps short technical records such as IP addresses to keep the site running and safe. If you switch the site to dark, your browser remembers that choice; nothing is sent anywhere.

        Introducing yourself, and the newsletter

What a form sends is used only for what that form says:

        • Founders. MindEast keeps your details to read them, reply to you and suggest investors who fit. An investor hears about you only if you say yes.
        • Investors. MindEast keeps your details to check your profile and send you founders who fit, each only with their yes.
        • Newsletter. MindEast keeps your email address and when you signed up. Every email has a link to stop it, and one click is enough.
        • Only the MindEast team sees what you send. It is never sold and never added to anyone else's mailing list.
        • MindEast looks at the public links you give it. It never collects data from LinkedIn automatically.

        The services involved

        • Cloudflare hosts the site and runs Turnstile, the check that a person, not a program, is sending a form (it loads only with the forms). An introduction waits there only until MindEast's server copies it, within minutes, and is then deleted from Cloudflare. The newsletter's list of addresses stays there too, so the link to stop it works at any time.
        • Hetzner runs MindEast's server in Finland, where your details are kept.
        • Telegram carries each introduction to the MindEast team's private group.
        • Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES, in Ireland) sends the newsletter.

Seeing, changing or deleting your details
